Shortcrust (The Label) aims to be the least flaky music company in Wellington. We are a music label and management company that dabble in booking and promotion. We represent local artists looking to grow into the music scene of Aotearoa in the way they want to grow.
Our vision is to stay tied to the roots of Wellington, helping the artists among those roots. Shortcrust wants to create strong relationships that we can all enjoy, benefit from and grow within to better ourselves.
Shortcrust is the overarching label and brand of artist management work. Managers under the Shortcrust umbrella manage their own artists while sharing knowledge, information and help between each other to create the best success and relationships possible
Shortcrust wants to learn the values of the artist so that we can find out how to pursue what they want to pursue. What do they want to gain from this relationship?
We call it an agreement that we will look out for each other in the industry.
